-
Who will my instructor be?All of our professional instructors must complete an arduous training and certification program with many hours of practice before they can teach lessons. Any one of our instructors will specialize in teaching you the way that works best for you, in the dances you choose!
-
Why should I learn to dance? There are MANY benefits to learning how to dance! Dancing is an excellent physical conditioner - providing exercise while also having fun! Learning to dance helps with gaining poise and confidence which translates into all aspects of your life!
-
What do I wear to my lesson? We're dressed up for work, but our students wear anything that makes them comfortable - from athleisure to casual to date night. Whatever works best for you, as long as it's appropriate!
-
What type of shoes should I wear?We recommend against shoes that do not have a sturdy back, such as flip-flops, mules, sling-backs, slippers, etc. We also recommend against heels higher than 2.5-3", heavy boots, or thick sneakers. If it's raining/snowing and wet outside, we ask that you bring a change of shoes to keep our studio clean. Otherwise, wear what is comfortable, feels balanced, and allows you to feel the floor beneath you! Eventually you may decide you wish to purchase a pair of dance shoes - your instructor will be able to help you choose what will work best for you!
-
Do I need a partner to learn how to dance?Absolutely not! Our professional instructors are trained to teach both singles and couples. If you are coming in by yourself, your instructor will be your partner during your lesson.
